rsync smells like guru sweat
-- rusty, on the OzLabs fridge

Development resources are provided by the rproxy project at SourceForge, and samba.org. Development is sponsored by Linuxcare, Inc.

The current development effort is aimed at rearranging the code to produce a widely reusable librsync, which will probably have an API quite similar to zlib. This will be used in rproxy itself, but more importantly provide a good basis for integration with other programs and re-engineering of rsync-3.0.
